How to potty train a toddler is more on the parent to start training than the toddler. Children can truly learn at any age and how to start is completely up to you.
The good news is that you actually can learn how to potty train a toddler in as easy as 3 days!
I have three kids of my own and all three where potty trained under one week, with my last two children potty trained in only three days FLAT!
The first thing I recommend you do is go out and buy a potty training guide that guarantees how to potty train a toddler quickly and easily. I used one program for all three of my toddlers and you don’t have to use the same method but I would highly recommend it!
The program was called Start Potty Training and developed by a successful Day Care owner named Carol Cline. She had spent nearly two years developing a guide that busy everyday parents like you and me could use. The best part about her guide is that she has it down to a science! Even stubborn kids can be fully potty trained and accident free within just one weekend.
I know, it sounds too good to be true…
I felt the exact same way after hearing nightmare stories of parents who where spending months trying and constantly cleaning up disgusting messes day after day.
Well take my word one parent to another, this is the real deal!

The first time I set out to potty train my first born with this method I will admit the idea of staying in the house for three days strait didn’t sound that much fun. In order to do it right you need to be on “potty patrol” around the clock. Only dedication, consistency and a positive attitude will get your child potty trained and if you slack at one, you’re not going to have your child potty trained in three days.
The first day is a nightmare! Constant accidents needed to be cleaned up and that’s not fun. But to be fair Rome wasn’t built in a day and either is potty training. By the end of the day I was interested to see what tomorrow would bring. Carol Cline had said for some kids you can expect it to click on the second day and I just hoped my kid was one of them.
I woke up early and got right to it…
My son woke up and he was actually dry! I was thrilled and hopeful this success would follow throughout the rest of the day. My son had a hard time telling me when he had to go potty so I had to stay by his side the entire day and constantly ask “do you have to go potty?” Most the time he answered “No potty” and would have an accident minutes after.
VERY Frustrating…
But for this program to work you truly have to stay consistent and positive so that’s exactly what I did. While sitting on the couch come afternoon, in the midst of watching Aladdin singing A Whole New World…
My son sprung to life and worked his way off the couch and ran to the potty ON HIS OWN! I was blown away and incredibly proud.
Something just clicked with him on that second day and from that point on we only ever experiences 3-4 accidents from then on.
Now that was my first experience using Carol Cline’s Start Potty Training guide and I can say the results have been nearly the same with my two others. Not every child is the same, some will be harder and some will be easier. Stay Consistent, Positive and Persistent and you WILL see the results in the end!
All the best in your potty training efforts!
